Founded in 2022, Elaine Wackerly Home is a boutique residential interior design firm based in Chicago’s historic Hyde Park neighborhood, working nationally. We believe everyone deserves beauty and that your home should support and nurture your family’s needs. We specialize in helping those with shifting family structures; specific sensory, physical and emotional needs; and an evolving sense of self. We support anyone hoping to convert their home into a warm, restorative, authentic-to-them haven. We make the process joyful (or at the least survivable!) and support you every step of the way.

MEET THE FOUNDER
I love art and design and have always expressed my creativity through my and my friends’ homes. Professionally, I spent twenty years building community and serving families through theater and education. I have the privilege of serving as a caregiver for beloved friends and family, which allows me to understand the importance of having a space that works for each person's unique needs. At this phase of my life, I am weaving together these three aspects—creativity, community, and caregiving—to help families thrive in a way that I am uniquely positioned to do.
